Paula Brandao was born in Belo Horizonte - Minas Gerais, Brazil. When she was a child she used to start her short stories for school with the words "Once upon a time" or "It was a beautiful dawn", and she has brought these simple perceptions with her throughout her life and also in her writings. She lived in London for some time where she had the opportunity to learn more about the meaning of life, gathering many stories and laughters. Her Art Graduation awakened her interest in culture even more and also in everything regarding art, colours, sounds and forms. Her postgraduation In Marketing and Peoples' Management showed her more about the  intensity of change in the world and its urban atmosphere. Paula is the author of the e-book Crônicas e mais Alguns Escritos, and co-author in many books, such as Faz de Contos II and III, with the texts "A rua Augusta" and "Fulham Road", both publlished by Helvetia Publisher. The text "Udoaldo" was nominated in second place in the Category Prose in the book O Homem, o Projeto no Mundo, and the poem "Ainda Vidas" was nominated in the first place in the book VII Coletânea Século XXI, published by PoeArt Publisher. As a teacher, she thinks that teaching is a major opportunity of learning about herself and the others.
